The Gallery, a proud part of Al Handal International Group, hosted the opening of the HOME exhibition at Iqraa Downtown in collaboration with the Netherlands Embassy in Iraq.

Considered among the first collaborations of its kind in Iraq, the exhibition brought together photographers from across the country to explore the many meanings of home, belonging, and migration through powerful images and personal stories.

The opening welcomed H.E. Janet Alberda, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Iraq; H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bahr Aluloom, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; representatives from the European Union, UNESCO, the United Nations, UNHCR, IOM, diplomatic missions, and members of Iraq’s cultural community.

Through HOME, The Gallery continues to strengthen its role as a cultural space where art, dialogue, and community come together in meaningful ways.
