The Middle East Research Institute (MERI) which holds a broad array of conferences and meetings, including an annual (MERI) Forum, the premiere high-level policy gathering in Iraq, held its most recent gathering in October 2021.

This year's Forum was designed to seek to:

• Provide a dialogue and the exchange of visions between policymakers, academics, and decision-makers.

• Develop creative and constructive answers and offer recommendations for today’s most pressing policy issues, focusing on the prospects for legitimate stability in the Middle East.

• Highlight areas for further research that can contribute to greater understanding of the challenges facing the Middle East, now and in the future.

On this occasion, (MERI) has been privileged to host esteemed speakers that included Mr. Wadea Al Handal, Chairman of the Al Handal International Group.
