Al Handal participates in Private Philanthropy for Development in the Middle East & North Africa
Al Handal International Group (HIG) was presented by Mr. Yousif Al-Alousi the Head of sustainability & CSR, where his participation represented Iraq and shared the experiences and role of HIG in developing the nation. Mr. Al-Alousi discussed the holistic and institutional approach to implementing its philanthropic strategy in Iraq.
The conference was co-organized by Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research, in partnership with The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Network of Foundations Working for Development (netFWD) and Pearl Initiative, with attendance from 40 high-level philanthropic representatives and CSR executives from international and regional organizations, and government institutions.
The conference focused on innovative tools in the art of giving and community development in the region.
